Tutorial cómo un hacer cuello capucha con telar circular¿Os acordáis del video tutorial que compartimos hace un tiempo de un cuello capucha con ganchillo XL? Pues hoy en Tutéate, después de haber recibido varias peticiones, enseñamos cómo podemos conseguir la misma idea utilizando un telar circular (¡y sin necesidad de coser las piezas!). A ver qué os parece, por aquí hemos quedado muy satisfechos con el invento.

Materiales utilizados:

– Telar circular de 29 cm de diámetro y 41 postes (es el telar más grande del set de telares) –> [Puedes comprar estos telares aquí]

– Ganchillo y aguja lanera

– 350 gramos (140 metros aprox.) de lana gruesa Bomber kaki para agujas de 10 – 12 mm de grosor

– 2 botones

– Aguja e hilo

– Tijeras y cinta métrica

– Cinta adhesiva para marcar

Ésta es la primera pieza que tejeremos. Luego volvemos a colocar los puntos iniciales sobre el telar para tejer la segunda parte:Primera mitad del cuello capucha hecho con telar circularAquí ya hemos tejido las dos mitades juntas del proyecto. A continuación toca juntar la parte superior de la capucha con la ayuda, de nuevo, del telar (lo mostramos todo en el vídeo):

  3. Hello I had left a comment on your video and I am looking to make one of these for my two younger cousins as a gift, one child is three the other is about a year. I wanted to understand sizing in comparrison to the adult size 33, and 13. Please help!! Great tutorial 🙂

      Ok, let’s see if this helps:

      1) The number of pegs casted on at the beginning will determine the height of the hooded cowl (the distance from the neck to the top of our head). We recommend you to first measure the distance you need for each of your cousins and then try to find how many pegs you need to get a knitted work with this «width». For example, imagine you need the height of you hood to be 20cm, then try casting on 24 pegs and knit a few rows. If you see that your knitted work width (from peg #1 to #24) is 20cm, then you already found the number of pegs you need.

      2) Then, knit rows until you have a length equal to the distance from the back of their head to their cheek.

      3) Once there, we used just 13 pegs for the «height» of the cowl part (the distance from our shoulders to our chin). Measure which size you need for your cousins and take a look at your work (you will see «columns of stitches» coming out of your pegs, just choose how many of them you need to have this second «height»)

      We started knitting from the leftest part (from the bottom to the top) using 33 pegs, then we knitted a few rows, until we decided they were enough to cover from the back of the head to the cheek, and then we just used 13 pegs and worked reductions (to get the cowl part). Hope this helps!

  5. Hello I loved the video but I had a question on how to make the neck/cowl longer so that it reaches below the shoulders to the bust area? Could you tell me how to adjust the pattern? We have very cold and windy winters in Minnesota and wearing business dress clothes doesn’t really keep us very warm. Thank you Kasey

    1. Hi Kasey! If you want to make it longer, you just need to use more than 33 pegs at the beginning. We used 33 pegs and we got the height you can see on the pictures. I think you could follow the rest of directions in the same way.

  7. Hola hice uno en negro y me gustó mucho y quiero hacer uno para niño comonde 7 años me puedes ayudar con las medidas tsnto de numero de postes como de largo en cm de la capucha te ko agradeceria mucho

    1. Hola Estefani 🙂 En número de postes mejor utiliza unos cuantos menos (unos 26 postes podría estar bien). Luego para la longitud debes medir cuántos centímetros hay desde la parte trasera de la cabeza de tu niño hasta su mejilla. Ese será el largo de centímetros que deberás tejer con esos 26 postes.

    1. Hola Erika! Sí, puedes seguir el mismo tutorial con un telar de 36 postes, porque ya verás en el vídeo que sólo utilizamos 33 🙂
      Cuando hayas tejido la tuya, verás que el número de postes que utilizamos marca la altura de la capucha (la distancia entre la parte trasera de nuestro cuello y la coronilla de la cabeza). Toma esta medida de tu hija y mira en tu tejido cuántos postes necesitarías para conseguirla.

    Soy nueva en esto y tengo una duda eh visto el video y quiero hacer uno para mi hija tengo un telar de 32 postes servira ? O tiene q ser de 41? O un telar mas pequeño? Xfavor ayudenme!!!

    1. Hola! Puedes utilizar el de 32 🙂 Verás en el vídeo que nosotros sólo utilizamos 33 postes del telar, por lo que tú simplemente tejerás con un poste menos, que no se notará mucho
